Test sequence

Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD) of automatic vertical headlight aim control. See AUTOMATIC VERTICAL HEADLIGHT AIM CONTROL ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD), INITIATING .

Display on VAS 5051:

In selection -1-, click on the diagnostic function "03-On Board Diagnostic (OBD)".

A - 1.Actuator in test

2 - Headlights are lowered

The headlights will be lowered, until the upper end position has been reached.

Click on => button

2- Headlights are raised

The headlights will be raised, until the upper end position has been reached.

3 - Signal wire to instrument cluster

Warning symbol (auto. vert, headlight aim control) is indicated in the center display of the instrument cluster.
