Check DTC Memory (function 02)

Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD) of automatic vertical headlight aim control. See AUTOMATIC VERTICAL HEADLIGHT AIM CONTROL ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD), INITIATING .

Display on VAS 5051:

In selection -1-, click on the diagnostic function "02 -Check DTC Memory".

- 0 malfunction recognized
- X malfunctions recognized
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)

If malfunctions were recognized:

Print out Screen content or On Board Diagnostic (OBD) protocol:
See operating instructions for the VAS 5051 tester.

Repair malfunction(s) according to DTC table. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) TABLE .
In selection, click on diagnostic function "02 - Check DTC Memory" again and Erase DTC Memory. See ERASE DTC MEMORY (FUNCTION 05) .
In selection, click on diagnostic function "06 - End Output. See End Output (function 06) .

If no malfunction was recognized:

In selection -1-, click on diagnostic function "06 - End Output". See END OUTPUT (FUNCTION 06) .
