Check DTC Memory (function 02)

NOTE: The displayed DTC information is updated only when initiating OBD or with "Erase DTC Memory" function 05.

Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD) of immobilizer. See IMMOBILIZER ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD), INITIATING .

Display on VAS 5051:

In selection -1-, click on the diagnostic function "02 - Check DTC Memory".

- 0 malfunctions recognized
- X malfunctions recognized
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)

If malfunctions were recognized:

Print out Screen content or On Board Diagnostic (OBD) protocol:
See operating instructions for the VAS 5051 tester.
Click on <-- button

Repair malfunction(s) according to DTC table. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) TABLE .
In selection -1-, press diagnostic function "02 - Check DTC Memory" again and Erase DTC Memory. See ERASE DTC MEMORY (FUNCTION 05) .
In selection, click on diagnostic function "06 - End Output". See END OUTPUT (FUNCTION 06) .

If no malfunction was recognized:

In selection -1-, click on diagnostic function "06 - End Output". See END OUTPUT (FUNCTION 06) .
