Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the flexplate. Refer to FLEXPLATE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NOTE:

    Be careful not to damage the rear crankshaft oil seal seat while removing it.

    NOTE:

    Removing the rear crankshaft oil seal is a destructive operation, so it always need to be replaced.

  2. Carefully remove the rear crankshaft oil seal (1).

INSTALLATION

  1. Using the 2030000090 tool's ring (1), install the rear crankshaft oil seal.

  2. Using the 2030000090 tool (1), install the rear crankshaft oil seal as far as it will go.
  3. Install the flexplate. Refer to FLEXPLATE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
