Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. Install the (special tool #2024200090, Damper, Rotating Tool) (1) on the vibration damper.

  3. Remove the bolts (1c) and the vibration damper (1a), complete with washer (1b).

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the vibration damper (1a) onto the crankshaft complete with washer (1b). Using the (special tool #2024200090, Damper, Rotating Tool) tool tighten the NEW  bolts (1c) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
