Removal And Installation

REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the Charge Air Cooler (CAC). Refer to
COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Remove the serpentine drive belt (1).
INSTALLATION
NOTE:
Verify that the serpentine belt ribs are aligned in the coolant pump pulley and vibration damper grooves.
- Install the serpentine belt (1) positioned with the smooth outer side (A) and ribbed inner side (B) as shown in illustration.
- Install the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) and support bracket. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
