Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. Open the retaining clip (1) and release the engine wiring.
  3. Open the clamp (2a) and disconnect the air cleaner body (2b) from the right air inlet hose (2c).
  4. Follow the same procedure to disconnect the air cleaner from the left air inlet hose.

  5. Remove the bolts (1a) and the air filter cover (1b).

  6. Lift up the cover (1a) and remove the air cleaner element (1b).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Install a NEW  cleaner element in its housing.
  2. Close the cover on the air filter and securely tighten the bolts.
  3. Connect the right air inlet hose to the air cleaner body and secure the clamp.
  4. Follow the same procedure to connect the left inlet air hose to the air cleaner body.
  5. Secure the engine wiring in the retaining clip.
  6. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
