High Temperature (Ht) Water Pump

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .

2. Working through the pulley holes, remove the bolts (1a) and the water pump (1b).
3. Replace the water pump O-ring (2).

INSTALLATION

1. Install a NEW  O-ring seal onto the water pump.
2. Install the water pump and tighten the bolts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
3. Install the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
5. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
