Front Heat Shield

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the exhaust resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the toothed washers (1a) and the heat shield of the front exhaust silencer (1b).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Install the front exhaust silencer heat shield back in place and tighten the toothed washers.
  2. Install the exhaust resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
