DTC U0100-00, U0101-00, U0123-00, U0126-00, U0129-00, U0151-00, U0155-00 (VSA Control Unit: Without ACC)

DTC U0100-00  : CAN Communication Failure with ECM/ISU DTC U0101-00  : CAN Communication Failure with PCM/TCM DTC U0123-00  : CAN Communication Failure with Yaw-Rate/Acceleration Sensor DTC U0126-00  : CAN Communication Failure with Absolute Steering Wheel Angle Sensor DTC U0129-00  : CAN Communication Failure with AHB/ESB/EBB DTC U0151-00  : CAN Communication Failure with SRS DTC U0155-00  : CAN Communication Failure with Meter

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
• Refer to the DTC code shown on the display, and then inspect the connectors and terminals based on the instructions in the table.
• These DTC (s) may be stored due to a power/ground circuit failure of the appropriate transmitting control unit. Before doing this troubleshooting, check the power/ground circuit of the appropriate transmitting control unit first.

DTC (VSA)

1. Open wire check (F-CAN A H, F-CAN A L lines)

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   Disconnect the following connectors according to the detected DTC.

   NOTE: 

   • Jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute when disconnecting the PCM connector.
   • Before disconnecting the SRS unit connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.
   • Before disconnecting the electric brake booster connector, open the driver's door and wait for 3 minutes without closing the driver's door.

   -3. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Go to step 2.

   YES 

   The F-CAN A H and F-CAN A L wires are OK. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting. According to the detected DTC on the following table, substitute or replace the correspond control unit.

   NO 

   Repair an open in the wire between the receiving control unit and the transmitting control unit.

2. Open wire check (F-CAN B H, F-CAN B L lines)

   -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   YES
