Center Console Inner Box Lid Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the center console or the related parts.
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

Remove the center console panel (see CENTER CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Disconnect the console accessory power socket connector, the auxiliary jack assembly connector, and the USB jack connector (see step 2 on ).
Open the center console armrest.
Remove the center console box mat (A).
NOTE: It may be easier to use packing tape to remove the mat.

Remove the screws, then open the lid (A) by prying the hooks (B) with the appropriate trim tool.

Pivot the center console inner box lid (A) up on the upper hooks (B) to release the lower hook (C), then remove the lid from the console box (D).

Install the lid in the reverse order of removal.
