Inner Taillight Replacement: Sedan

  1. Open the trunk lid, and remove the rear license plate trim panel (see REAR LICENSE TRIM REPLACEMENT - SEDAN ).
  2. Remove the trunk trim (see TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - TRUNK LID ).
  3. Disconnect the connector (A) from the inner taillight

  4. Remove the three nuts, then remove the taillight.
  5. Inspect the gasket; replace it if it is distorted or stays compressed.
  6. Install the taillight in the reverse order of removal.
