Glove Box Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

* Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the panels.
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

Remove these items:
- Passenger's dashboard trim (see PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Passenger's dashboard undercover (see PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
Remove the bolts (A) and the screws (B).

Remove the glove box (A).
1. Pull out the glove box by hand to detach the clips.
2. While holding the glove box, disconnect the glove box light bulb (B), the trunk lid opener main switch connector (C), and the keyless access system mode switch connector (D) (for some models).

Install the glove box in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Push the clips into place securely.
