Oil Pressure Gauge Test
Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove oil pressure gauge from instrument cluster. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance of oil pressure gauge. See OIL PRESSURE GAUGE RESISTANCE table. See Figure . Replace oil pressure gauge if resistance is not as specified.
NOTE:
The resistance value between terminals No. 2 and 8 includes the resistance value for the fuel gauge, since these terminals are shared with the fuel gauge.
