Rear Drain Hose Installation

REAR DRAIN HOSE INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
- If the rear drain hose is pinched or bent anywhere, the water in the hose may not discharge and enter the inside of the vehicle. During and after installation of the trims and the headliner, always make sure there is no interference with the rear drain hose. Fix any problem if found.

1. Apply soapy water to the rear drain hose inserting area.

2. Insert one end (the wider side) of the rear drain hose into the sunroof frame.

3. Install the rear drain hose to the clips parallel to the pillar and free of slack.

4. Insert the rear drain hose joint into the rear pillar inner hole.

5. Install the following parts:
a. Headliner Service and Repair

b. RES unit cover (Vehicles with RES) RES Unit Removal/Installation

c. Assist handle Service and Repair

d. Sunvisor Service and Repair

e. Front map light Front Map Light Removal/Installation

f. D-pillar trim D-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

g. Third-row seat belt upper anchor installation bolt Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

h. C-pillar trim C-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

i. Second-row seat belt upper anchor installation bolt Second-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

j. Roof side trim Roof Side Trim Removal/Installation

k. Trunk side trim

l. Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt Third-Row Seat Belt Removal/Installation

m. Third-row seat Rear - Third-Row Seat Removal/Installation

n. Trunk end trim Service and Repair

o. Seat side box Seat Side Box Removal/Installation

p. Trunk box

q. B-pillar upper trim B-Pillar Upper Trim Removal/Installation

r. Front seat belt upper anchor installation bolt (driver-side) Front Seat Belt Removal/Installation

s. B-pillar lower trim B-Pillar Lower Trim Removal/Installation

t. Front seat belt lower anchor installation bolt. Front Seat Belt Removal/Installation

u. Rear scuff plate inner Rear Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

v. Front scuff plate inner Front Scuff Plate Removal/Installation

w. A-pillar trim A-Pillar Trim Removal/Installation

6. Install the seaming welt.
