PINPOINT TEST 8: THE LOW FUEL WARNING INDICATOR IS NEVER/ALWAYS ON

Step 1 - 2:

Normal Conditions
The low fuel indicator will turn on when the fuel level reaches a predetermined level, typically about 1/8 tank. The low fuel level warning indicator and fuel gauge are controlled by the instrument cluster based upon the fuel level data provided by the fuel pump module.
