Power Liftgate Motor









Removal and Installation

1. Remove the power liftgate rod. For additional information, refer to Power Liftgate Rod Service and Repair.

2. Remove the Liftgate/Trunk Module (LTM). For additional information, refer to Liftgate/Trunk Module (LTM) Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the power liftgate motor electrical connectors.





4. Remove the power liftgate motor bracket retaining bolts and nut.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

5. Remove the power liftgate motor assembly.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Initialize the power liftgate. For additional information, refer to Power Liftgate Initialization Procedures.
