Removal And Installation
REMOVAL
Remove driver's side panel. Refer to: [INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER]
VEHICLES EARLY VERSION
The clip is to be removed in pieces.
When removed, the push rod is not be loaded with traction force over 25 N.
Make sure that a new component is installed.
Note position of components.
Make sure that the component is fitted in exactly the same position as the old one.
Cut following the dotted lines.
Remove the clip.
INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
A click confirms that the component is in the correct position.
Make sure that the component is fitted in exactly the same position as the old one.
Ensure that the push rod ends in the correct position by pulling the brake pedal at the pedal pad with a traction force of max 100 N.
Make sure that the component is positioned correctly.
A click confirms that the component is in the correct position.

The clip is to be removed in pieces.
When removed, the push rod is not be loaded with traction force over 25 N.
