Vacuum Pump Module (4/261) [2018-2022, B4204T28]: Description

The vacuum pump module is an external power stage used to activate the vacuum pump. The Vehicle Dynamics Domain Master (VDDM) monitors the vacuum level via a vacuum sensor and sends a signal to the vacuum pump module to activate the pump in case of low vacuum. The vacuum pump module is controlled with two control signals from the Vehicle Dynamics Domain Master (VDDM), a 5V supply and a feedback signal. The vacuum pump module supplies the 5V signal, and then if both control signals is set to low level (ground) the pump will be activated. The vacuum pump module is short circuit protected.
