Driver's Knee Airbag [2017-2022]: Removal

NOTE:

Perform battery disconnecting and connecting. Refer to: [BATTERY DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING]

WARNING:

The supplemental restraint system (SRS) is active for a certain length of time after the power supply has been disconnected. Wait for a minimum of 30 seconds before disconnecting or removing any SRS components.

Remove the screws.

Remove the marked part.

Disconnect the connector.

Torque: Airbag to bracket, 5.5Nm

Remove the screws.

CAUTION:

Pull carefully.

Remove the marked part.

Dismantle the connector ignition cable. Refer to: [IGNITER WIRE CONNECTOR]

Disconnect the connector.
