Solenoid, Active Brake Booster (8/46) [2018-2022, B4204T28 | 2020-2022, B4204T39]: Description

The solenoid, active brake booster, controls the brake booster to create brake pressure.

The solenoid is only installed on the Twin Engine and is located inside the brake booster.

The solenoid is part of the regenerative break system and works together with the Electric rear axle drive ERAD to create the driver requested braking force.

The solenoid is controlled by the Vehicle Dynamics Domain master (VDDM) via a PWM signal.
