EXTRA INFORMATION
The minimum permitted brake disc thickness is read on the brake disc.
CHECK
Remove brake calliper, front, refer to: FRONT BRAKE CALIPER
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
Refer to: Special Tool: 999 7104
Torque:Aluminum wheel rim to wheel hub,
- Stage 1: 4 Nm
- Stage 2: 50 Nm
- Stage 3: 140 Nm
Refer to: Special Tool: 999 5420 and Special Tool: 999 7555
Tighten the nuts.
Refer to: Special Tool: 981 3134 , Special Tool: 999 5420 , Special Tool: 999 5418 and Special Tool: 999 7555
Slowly rotate the brake disc and note the dial indicator gauge readings.
The following steps are only necessary when installing a new component.
Perform wheel hub front, checking, refer to: WHEEL HUB FRONT, CHECKING
Remove the front brake disc, refer to: FRONT BRAKE DISC
