Seat Belt TENSIONER [2017-2018]: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
Disconnect the battery ground cable, refer to: BATTERY DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
Information about handling and storing pyrotechnical SRS-components, refer to: HANDLING NON-DEPLOYED PYROTECHNICAL PART .
WARNING:
Do not use test equipment on the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) electrical connectors.
WARNING:
A pyrotechnical SRS component must never be unscrewed, repaired or moved to another vehicle.
Remove the following items:
- the side panel, refer to: SIDE PANEL FRONT SEAT
- the quick-release connector, refer to: SAFETY BELT ANCHOR QUICK RELEASE .
Remove the electrical connector, refer to: IGNITER WIRE CONNECTOR .
Torque: Seat belt tensioner lap to seat, 40Nm
