Ac Expansion Valve [2016, B5254T12]: Removal

Remove the plenum cover, refer to: PLENUM COVER
Drain the refrigerant, refer to: REFRIGERANT, DRAINING
Perform battery disconnecting and connecting, refer to: BATTERY DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING
VEHICLES WITH SUPPORT BATTERY
Remove the hose.
Loosen the screws.
Torque: Battery cable for battery, 6Nm
Remove the nut.
Remove the fastener.
Torque: M6, 10Nm
Remove the marked part.
Remove the marked part.
Remove the nuts.
Torque: M8, 24Nm
Remove the marked part.
Loosen the clip.
Release the catches.
Remove the nuts.
Torque: M8, 24Nm
Release the catches.
Release the catches.
Fold marked part aside.
ALL VEHICLES
Remove the marked part.
Loosen the clip.
Remove the hose.
Loosen the screws.
Torque: Battery cable for battery, 6Nm
Remove the screw.
Remove the fastener.
Torque: M6, 10Nm
Remove the screws.
Torque: M6, 10Nm
Make sure that the component terminals are not bent or damaged.
Release the lock.
Disconnect the connectors.
Note the routing of the lines and hoses.
Disconnect the connector.
Note the routing of the lines and hoses.
Loosen the clips.
Make sure that the seal is correctly located.
Loosen the clip.
Make sure that the seal is correctly located.
Remove the secondary bulkhead panel RH, refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD PANEL RH
Make sure that the seal is correctly located.
Remove the screws.
Remove the nuts.
Torque: M6, 10Nm
Remove the nut.
Torque: M6, 10Nm
Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Note the routing of the lines and hoses.
Fold marked part aside.
Remove the screws.
Torque: Refrigerant pipe to expansion valve, 4.5Nm
Remove the marked part.
