General Information
Extreme cleanliness must be exercised when handling these components.
Make sure that all openings are sealed.
To prevent moisture or dirt from entering the system, the protective plugs must always be installed immediately after disassembly.
Leave the protective plugs in the new components in place until the components are to be installed.
After installation, the AC system must be filled immediately.
In the event of major leakage, or if moisture is suspected in the AC system, the drier/accumulator must be replaced.
The compressor oil must be topped up when repairing a leak or when replacing a component. The quantity required will depend on whether leakage has taken place slowly or quickly.
Fast leak (for example hose rupture). Fast leaks normally mean loss of compressor oil with refrigerant.
Slow leak (longer than 24 hours). In the event of a slow leak, there is not normally a great risk of loss of compressor oil.
