REMOVAL

NOTE:

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Follow instructions about safety information gasoline-fuel system, refer to: SAFETY INFORMATION GASOLINE - FUEL SYSTEM

Perform depressurizing fuel system, refer to: FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE

Remove ignition coil, refer to: IGNITION COIL

Remove the screws.

Torque: M6, 10Nm

Remove the screw.

Torque: M6, 10Nm

Release the connector catches.

Disconnect the connectors.

WARNING:

Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

CAUTION:

Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.

CAUTION:

Extreme cleanliness must be exercised when handling these components.

NOTE:

Make sure that a new component is installed.

Remove the nuts.

Torque:High-Pressure Fuel Line to Fuel Pump

Remove the screws.

Torque: Fuel rail, 20Nm

Release the lock.

Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

Loosen the clips.

INSTALLATION

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
