Turbocharger [2017-2018, B4204T11]: Removal

Loosen the screws.

Drain cooling system, draining, filling, and bleeding, refer to: COOLING SYSTEM - DRAINING, CHARGING AND BLEEDING

Remove the catalytic converter, refer to: CATALYTIC CONVERTER

Loosen the hose clamp.

Release the lock.

Remove the hose.

A click confirms that the component is in the correct position.

Remove the screw.

Torque:  M6, 10Nm

Loosen the hose clamp.

Loosen the clips.

Disconnect the connector.

Detach the following items: 

1. Torque:Exhaust manifold to cylinder head, nut,

   • Stage 1: 20Nm 
   • Stage 2: 20Nm 

2. Torque:Exhaust manifold to cylinder head, bolt,

   • Stage 1: 20Nm 
   • Stage 2: 20Nm
