Camshafts [2016, B5254T12]: Installation
NOTE:
This step is only necessary if adjustment is required
Perform valve clearance, refer to: VALVE CLEARANCE
NOTE:
Make sure that these components are installed to the noted removal position.
Use: Engine oil
CAUTION:
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
Use: Abrasive cloth, 9511024
Use: Chemical gasket, 1161059
CAUTION:
Take extra care when handling the components.
Torque: M7, 17Nm
Torque: M6, 10Nm
Install the following items:
- camshaft seal, refer to: CAMSHAFT SEAL
- VVT unit, refer to: VVT UNIT
- timing belt, refer to: TIMING BELT
- spark plugs, refer to: SPARK PLUGS
- ignition coil, refer to: IGNITION COIL
