General Information
Water that does not meet the requirements of the specification can cause corrosion and deposits in the cooling system.
As an alternative, distilled water (battery water) can be used.
MIXING RATIO
- 50% water
- 50% Volvo coolant, concentrated
If in doubt about the water meeting the specification requirements, use Volvo ready-mixed coolant instead.
CHECK
CAUTION:
To maintain optimal freeze- and corrosion protection, the freezing point must not be less than -32 °C / -26 °F.

CLEANING
When changing coolant or components, ensure that the system is flushed clean with water that meets the specification requirements.
Alternatively, Volvo ready-mixed coolant can be used.
