REMOVAL
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
Remove front subframe, service position, refer to: FRONT SUBFRAME, SERVICE POSITION
TRANSFERRING COMPONENTS
Remove the marked detail/details.
- Torque: M6, 10Nm
- Use hands only.
- Torque: M8, 24Nm
Remove the marked part.
Remove the marked detail/details.
Loosen the screws.
- Torque: M8, 24Nm

Torque:Lower arm lower front to subframe (rear mounting, screw),
- Stage 1: 140 Nm
- Stage 2: 60 °
Remove the marked part.
Refer to Spare parts catalogue for information on correct component/ fastener.
Loosen the screws.
Torque:Steering gear to subframe,
- Stage 1: 45 Nm
- Stage 2: 90 °
Remove the marked part.
Note the location of the component before removal.
Remove the screws.
Remove the marked part.
On both sides.
Torque: M8, 24Nm
On both sides.
Loosen the nut.
Torque:Lower arm front to subframe (rear mounting, nut),
- Stage 1: 90 Nm
- Stage 2: 60 °
Make sure that a new bolt is installed.
Refer to: Special Tool: 999 7538
Remove the screw.
On both sides.
Remove the screws.
Torque:Lower arm front to subframe (front mounting),
- Stage 1: 140 Nm
- Stage 2: 90 °
On both sides.
Remove the marked part.
On both sides.
Remove the screw.
Remove the marked part.
Torque: M6, 10Nm
Loosen the screws.
Remove the marked part.
Torque: Lower torque rod rear left, to subframe, 110Nm
Loosen the screws.
Remove the marked part.
Torque: Lower torque rod rear right, to subframe, 60Nm
INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Only use the specified special tool.
This step is only necessary when installing a new component.
On both sides.
Refer to: Special Tool: 999 7536
Install front subframe, service position, refer to: FRONT SUBFRAME, SERVICE POSITION
Perform wheel angles check, refer to: WHEEL ANGLES, CHECK
