Electric Rear Axle Drive (ERAD) [2016, B4204T28 | 2017-2018, B4204T28, TG-81SC]: Removal

WARNING:

Only specially trained technicians may work with the High voltage system.

Perform rear end, service position, refer to: REAR SUSPENSION, SERVICE POSITION

Undo the hoses from the connections.

Fold marked part aside.

Remove the screw.

Fold marked part aside.

Torque: M6, 10Nm

Remove the screws.

Torque: M6, 10Nm

Release the catch.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove right drive axle rear, refer to: REAR DRIVE AXLE

Remove the left drive shaft rear, refer to: REAR DRIVE AXLE

WARNING:

Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

NOTE:

Note the position of the component before removal.

Remove the screws.

Torque: ERAD, to Subframe,

Use: Engine lift

Lift the marked component up
