Removal And Installation
REMOVAL
Remove vibration damper, refer to: VIBRATION DAMPER
Remove the screws.
Remove the marked part.
Remove the screws.
Remove the marked part.
Remove the screws.
Remove the marked part.
Make sure that the component is positioned correctly.
Refer to: Special Tool: 999 7497
Refer to: Special Tool: 999 7497
Make sure to turn the component until stop.
Tighten the nuts.
Loosen the screws.
Remove the marked part.
Remove the screw.
CLEANING
Make sure that the component is clean and free of foreign material.
Blow clean using compressed air
CHECK
Check the surfaces for abrasion.
INSTALLATION
Make sure that the component is positioned correctly.
Make sure that a new component is installed.
Tighten the screw.
Torque: M8, 24Nm
Make sure that the component is positioned correctly.
Only tighten the bolt finger tight at this stage.
Make sure that a new component is installed.
Install the screw.
Make sure to follow the sequence indicated.
Make sure that a new component is installed.
Remove the Special Tool.
BELT TENSIONER ADJUSTMENT
Make sure that the belt tensioner is aligned to the belt tensioner bracket.
Adjust to the specified value.
Tighten the screw.
Use: Allen key
Torque: M8, 24Nm
The engine is rotated so that the belt assumes its correct position.
Turn the engine
If the measured value is greater or less than the specified range, all steps in the Adjustment section must be carried out again.
Make sure that the belt tensioner is aligned to the belt tensioner bracket.
Adjust to the specified value.
Install the vibration damper, refer to: VIBRATION DAMPER
Install the marked component.
Install the screws.
Torque: M6, 10Nm
Install the marked component.
Install the screws.
Torque: M8, 24Nm
Install the marked component.
Install the screws.
Torque: M8, 24Nm
