Fuel Pump [2016-2020, B4204T23; B4204T27; B4204T28 | 2020, B4204T39]: Removal

Perform depressurizing fuel system, refer to: FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE
Remove the air filter housing, refer to: AIR CLEANER HOUSING
Loosen the hose clamp.
Remove the marked part.
Loosen the screws.
Remove the marked part.
Release the connector's catch.
Disconnect the connector.
Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Remove the following items:
- Release the lock.
- Remove the marked part.
Release the connector's catch.
Disconnect the connector.
Release the connector's catch.
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the screws.
Torque: M6, 10Nm
Remove the hose.
Remove the screw.
Torque: Crankcase ventilation non-return valve, to Cylinder head, 12Nm
Make sure that all openings are sealed.
Make sure that a new component is installed.
Refer to: Special Tool: 981 4198
Torque:High-Pressure Fuel Line to Fuel Pump
- Stage 1: 12Nm
- Stage 2: 25Nm
Remove the screws.
Remove the marked part.
This component is sensitive to "mechanical stresses". If the component has been dropped onto the floor, for example, it must not be installed in a vehicle.
Make sure that no component falls off during removal.
Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.
