Rear Drive Axle [2016, B4204T28 | 2017-2019, B4204T28, TG-81SC | 2020, B4204T28; B4204T39, TG-81SD]: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
Remove the wheel, refer to: WHEELS
WARNING:
Make sure that a new bolt is installed.
Remove the screw.
CAUTION:
There are two different torque specifications, note year ranges.
Torque: Driveshaft to wheel hub (rear), [2016-2018, 2020] models.
- Stage 1: 45 Nm
- Stage 2: 90 °
Torque: Driveshaft to wheel hub (rear), [2019] models.
- Stage 1: 45 Nm
- Stage 2: 90 °
Remove the screws.
Remove the nut.
Remove the screw.
Remove the nut.
NOTE:
Make sure that the component is suspended in a proper way.
Fold marked part aside.
Use: Brass drift
CAUTION:
Make sure that the inner constant velocity (CV) joint does not separate.
CAUTION:
Take extra care not to damage the seal.
Remove the marked part.
