Sill Panel [2016-2020]: Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
The following steps are only necessary when installing a new component.
NOTE:
Make sure that the mating faces are at a minimum temperature of 20°C.
Make sure that the workshop area in which the vehicle is being worked on is as clean and as dust free as possible.
Clean the marked area.
Allow to dry.
Use: Isopropanol, 1161721
Measure
Use: Vernier caliper
Use appropriate tape to mark the position.
Use: Masking tape,
CAUTION:
Make sure to clean your hands before the following step.
Do not touch the surface.
Remove the protective film.
Locate relevant marking.
Install the marked component.
Use suitable tool to squeeze out any trapped air bubbles.
