REPAIR

NOTE:

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions when handling the equipment.

NOTE:

A fibre optic cable must not be spliced. A damaged fibre optic cable can only be repaired if there is sufficient length for a new end sleeve to be installed. If not, a new fibre optic cable must be routed parallel to the damaged cable as a replacement.

CAUTION:

Make sure that the fiber optic cables are not bent to a radius of less than 25 mm.

NOTE:

Make sure that the optical connectors are clean and free of foreign material.
