Battery Disconnecting And Connecting [2016-2020]

DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY 

WARNING:

The supplemental restraint system (SRS) is active for a certain length of time after the power supply has been disconnected. Wait for a minimum of 30 seconds before disconnecting or removing any SRS components.

Set the vehicle to Inactive mode, described in user mode, refer to: USAGE MODE

Loosen the nut.

WARNING:

Make sure that the vehicle electrical system is fully depowered and no other power source is connected.

CONNECTING THE BATTERY

Torque:  Battery cable for battery, 6Nm

WARNING:

The first time the vehicle is activated after the battery has been disconnected, this must be performed from the rear seat, avoid the work area for the air bags. 

Reset the vehicle settings after completed test or work.
