The supplemental restraint system (SRS) is active for a certain length of time after the power supply has been disconnected. Wait for a minimum of 30 seconds before disconnecting or removing any SRS components.

Perform battery disconnecting and connecting, refer to: BATTERY DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING
Lower the headlining, refer to: HEADLINING
Torque: Inflatable curtain to the body, 6Nm
Loosen the screws.
Fold marked part aside.
Torque: Inflatable curtain to the body, 6Nm
Loosen the screws.
Disconnect the connector ignition cable, refer to: IGNITER WIRE CONNECTOR
Disconnect the connector.
Torque: Inflatable curtain to the body, 6Nm
Loosen the screws.
Remove the marked part.
