Checking The Component And Cable

• Ignition off.

  Check the cable between central electronic module (CEM) connector terminal #D16 and ignition switch connector terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

  The voltage must be 0 V if the key is in position 0 or I.
