Checking The Component And Cable

• Ignition off
• Remove the ignition key.

  Check the cable between central electronic module (CEM) terminal #D15 and ignition switch terminal #S (#3). Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

  The voltage must be battery voltage when the key is in the ignition switch.

  Remedy as necessary.
