Brake Disc Rear, Replacing: Installation

NOTE:

For tightening torques, see: TIGHTENING TORQUE .

INSTALLING THE BRAKE DISC

NOTE:

Be careful when handling the new brake disc. Careless handling can cause damage to the brake disc (out-of-true).

Install:

the new brake disc. Tighten the locating pin. See: TIGHTENING TORQUE
the caliper holder. Use 2 new mounting screws. Tighten. See: TIGHTENING TORQUE .

Depress the brake pedal a few times. Check the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir. Top up if necessary.

NOTE:

The parking brake must be adjusted if the parking brake adjustment was released.

Reinstall the panel covering the parking brake lever. See: PARKING BRAKE LEVER, REPLACING .
