Replacing A Component
- Ignition off, wait for 15 seconds.CAUTION:
Avoid touching the contact pin of the occupant weight sensor (OWS). Risk of electrostatic discharge that may cause damage in occupant weight sensor (OWS).
Change pressure sensor and occupant weight sensor (OWS). Pressure sensor included in system occupant weight sensor (OWS).
NOTE:After change of pressure sensor and occupant weight sensor (OWS) then the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) must be configured. This is done by storing ID-number for occupant weight sensor (OWS).
The occupant weight sensor (OWS) must also be calibrated.
