Removing The Exterior Handle From The Upper Tailgate

Remove:

the wiper arm. See TAILGATE WIPER ARM / BLADE, REPLACING
the panel. See PANEL TAILGATE UPPER, REPLACING
the 3 screws for the wiper motor
the wiper motor
the mechanical cable for the outer opening handle
the 4 nuts
the connector.

Remove the outer handle.
