Checking The Wire And Handbrake Contact

Check and measure handbrake switch function.

HINT: Handbrake pin 1 is only grounded when handbrake is on (lamp on). 

Check and measure wire between combined instrument 6 and handbrake contact 1 for a short circuit to ground as described in, see SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, PERMANENT FAULTS .
