Checking The Wires

Check and measure the wire between combined instrument 4 and engine control module connector B46 for a short circuit to ground as described in, see SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, PERMANENT FAULTS .

Additional information: 

• To connect the test box, see CONNECTING THE DRIVER INFORMATION MODULE (DIM) TEST BOX .

Is there a fault? 

• YES 

  Refer to VERIFICATION 

• NO 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
