Checking The Sun Roof

Try recalibrating the sun roof module (SRM).

Check the function of the sun roof motor. Replace the motor as necessary. If the motor works properly, check the sun roof mechanism for friction-free travel and blockage.

HINT: If there is a problem with ATS (pinch protection function), the cause of the fault is usually mechanical. It is therefore important to perform a comprehensive check of the sun roof mechanics. If the cause of the fault is not found, replace the control module. 

Remedy as necessary.
