Fault-Tracing Information
NOTE:
This symptom troubleshooting only applies to vehicles with Combustion preheater module (CPM).
If a customer has problems with the fuel heater not working optimally, it may be due to air leakage.
Probable symptoms in case of air leakage:
- Failed start attempt of fuel heater.
- Smoke development from the fuel heater at standstill or after driving a short distance.
