Checking The Switch For The Low Beam And Parking Lamps

Read off the switch signal.

Turn the switch to all positions.

The light switch sends the status of switches to the central electronic module (CEM). In event of a non permissible combination on the light switch "Non permissible" is displayed at the read out.

Does the switch function? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to REPLACING COMPONENT
