Checking The Cable And Parking Brake Switch

Check the function of the parking brake switch. Remedy if necessary.

HINT: Parking brake terminal 1 must only be grounded when the parking brake is applied (lamp lit). 

Check the cable between combined instrument panel terminal #5 and parking brake connector terminal #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Remedy if necessary.
