Checking The Background Lamp (Lamp Does Not Come On): Verification

HINT: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.

• Ignition off.
• Connect connectors, install components, etc.
• Engine running.
• Check that the malfunction indicator light (MIL) is off.

  Activate the malfunction indicator light (MIL).

Does the lamp work correctly? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
